We love our Minis here at Prospect and have been big fans of the cheeky little car since its launch. So, in 2007 when we took delivery of a replacement fleet we though it a great time to give the new cars a complete makeover. We consulted our designers and gave them the challenge to come up with a fresh look for the new runabouts. Rise to the challenge they did and the Streets Ahead Mini was born. Bright, distinctive and certainly not to be missed when it’s out and about on the roads zipping to and from appointments. |

To give a clever spin to their Streets Ahead theme, they suggested an A-to-Z map on the roof - and it’s centred on the location of our Head Office in Reading. Little touches like the sporting laurels on the flanks and the finishing-line flag on the bonnet hark back to the heritage of the classic British Racing Green Mini. The minis looked so good we asked them to give our special all-black mini some PhD treatment. The result was a mini perfect for a discreet move. |

With our great new cars came great marketing opportunities - featuring in the local press and on life-size banners in Reading’s Oracle shopping centre, as well as in our own promotional materials. |

We had so much fun looking at the designs for our new minis that we decided to let local schoolchildren share in the fun. We launched a competition open to children up to the age of 15 to create a ‘cool new design’ for a Mini’s paintwork. Hundreds of you downloaded the template from our website and we were inundated with entries! The prize was £1,000 for the child’s school plus a family day out at Legoland.
